RESIDENCE POLICY
RESIDENCE POLICY.
- Only full-time students maintaining a full course load are entitled to On Campus Residence.
- Students who have completed the minimum graduation requirement of their respective programme but are enrolled in further courses will only be considered for accommodation subject to availability of space.
- Students are not permitted to vacate the hostel to join other private hostel before the completion of their respective program.
- Students are to vacate rooms immediately after the last scheduled exam. Room keys must be returned to the Housing Office before leaving the campus.
* TUF Housing Office reserves the right to On Campus Residence and to modify the On Campus Residence policy as and when it deems necessary.
PENALTIES AND RELATED ADDITIONAL CHARGES
- Unauthorized early arrival and staying in the hostel without approval or check-in will result in a daily fine of PKR 2,000.
- For unregistered personal electrical appliances, a fine equivalent to three months' charges will be applied in addition to the regular monthly fees.
- Misuse of fire extinguishers will incur a fine of PKR 2,000 per person for the entire floor.
- If students choose to swap rooms, a fine of PKR 5,000 will be imposed on each student involved.
- Bringing outsiders into the hostel premises will result in a fine of PKR 10,000 per person in the room.
- Possession of smoking materials will result in a fine of PKR 5,000, and a case will be forwarded to the Disciplinary Committee (DC) upon a second violation.
- Monthly charges per AC will be Rs.26, 000/-(subject to revision) which will be distributed/paid by residents of requisite room
SMART THUMB SCANNING
- Entrance doors to residential buildings are kept locked at all times and can only be accessed using the Smart Thumb Scanning System.
- Thumb scanning for all residents is activated upon check-in.
- The Thumb Scanning access at entrance doors will remain active until the last day of the academic year or until a student checks out of the hostel.
